Cancer Research

The cancer researcher Dr Nadine Darwich delivered an insightful conference to the students of grade 11 and 12 at LFIE Beirut shedding light on recent developments, challenges, and potential breakthroughs in cancer research. The students were incredibly engaged and captivated by the researcher’s presentation, displaying a remarkable level of interest in the topic. During the presentation Dr Darwich shared her journey from university to her current position, expressing her happiness to have taught sciences in Élite school in the eighties, highlighting the evolution of her passion for cancer research. It was inspiring to hear how she followed her passion and dedication throughout her academic and professional career. Her personal journey resonated deeply with the students, serving as a powerful example and role model of how passion and perseverance can lead to meaningful contributions in the field of research they will choose.
